Overview

Itinerary

After breakfast, we will introduce you to your tour guide and arrange for him to pick you up at your
hotel for a fascinating excursion to Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath.

We fly early in the morning to Pokhara, a lovely lake city, where we get fantastic views of the
Himalayas from the right side of the aircraft. We drive to Ghandruk via Nayapul for the trek after
arriving at Pokhara airport (1 hour and 20 minutes away). Today, if there is time, we also go to the
 Gurung museum.

The journey involves an hour-long ascent to Kimrungdanda, offering spectacular views of Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre), and Annapurna South. After a quick descent to the Kimrong Khola, the trail continues with a mix of descents and ascents, leading to Chhomrong via Chere Danda. Chhomrong, a picturesque village, is nestled on the slopes of the Annapurna mountain range.

The bridge above Chhomrong Khola is crossed after we descend the 2500 stone stairs. From here,
Sinuwa is reached via a steep ascent. After that, we proceed through a lovely forest to Kuldihar
before making an easy descent to Bamboo

The trek passes through a chilly, damp bamboo grove, followed by a steady ascent with some steep sections. Upon reaching Himalaya Hotel, the forest opens up, revealing stunning views of the glacier river below. A steep climb through drier forest leads to Hinku Cave. The trail then descends toward the river before ascending to Deurali, the most scenic part of the day. Sparse vegetation offers breathtaking views of the valley, the river, and dramatic rock cliffs adorned with wispy waterfalls.

The trek from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp involves a gentle ascent through a riverbed and a rocky trail, offering moderate challenges. The base camp provides stunning views of Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli, and Gangapurna. As the trail continues to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), the vegetation thins and the path widens, revealing breathtaking views of Annapurna's near-vertical south face. The sanctuary offers a panoramic, unobstructed vista, with spectacular views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, and Hiunchuli.

We reverse our route back to Bamboo after leaving the Annapurna base camp. The journey today
is downhill, so it shouldn't be too challenging. In addition, we will always have the magnificent
 scenery to cheer us up.

It is an uphill climb from Bamboo to Kuldighar and then a downward stroll to Chhomrong Khola.
Then we ascend Chhomrong's stone steps. After that, the path drops to Jhinu Danda, where we
will spend the night. Today we will have the chance to relax at the hot springs, which are just a 15
to 20 minute downhill stroll from Jhinu Danda.

We have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking western Nepali hill scenery as we travel from
Jhinu Danda to Pokhara. We stop for lunch in route.

We fly to Kathmandu in the afternoon. After arriving in Kathmandu, we will be escorted to our
hotel. We enjoy the day leisurely, catch up on shopping, or explore any landmarks we missed
during our first day in Kathmandu.

Enjoy a relaxed day in Kathmandu, exploring its charm with your guide. Visit the Narayanhiti Museum, once home to Nepal’s last king, or soak in breathtaking views from Nagarkot’s summit. Wander through the valley’s UNESCO heritage sites, then gather for a heartfelt farewell dinner with your Nepali friends and guide. If you’re feeling adventurous, extend your journey with a thrilling Chitwan jungle safari or exciting rafting trips. A perfect blend of culture, nature, and sweet memories!
